With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Lovell Cooper (Augusta, Georgia), who passed away on January 31, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Henderson; her husband Claud Cooper Jr.; and her parents, Hurley D. Smith and Lillie Jewell Smith. She is survived by: her friends, Roscoe, Birdie and Dianne; her children, Deborah Cooper Munson (Patrick), James Rickey Cooper (Rachel) and Norman Eugene Cooper (Esther); her grandson Chase Cooper; her daughter Amy Dunaway (Ed); and her friend Terri Greg Mattox. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; her bonus grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
