She is survived by: her son Dennis Nelson (Patricia); her siblings, Joan Gilmore, Robert Shannon and Arthur Nix; her sisters-in-law, Ida Shannon, Juanita Addison, Delores Nelson and Ola Mae Marshbanks; her niece Kim Mack; and her close friends, Dawn and Mary Ann Smith. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Greater Young Zion Missionary Baptist Church (405 Sand Bar Ferry Rd, Augusta, GA 30901).
