She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Schermerhorn and Jeanette Schermerhorn; and her siblings, Dale Schermerhorn, Barbara Goodhue, John Schermerhorn, Ella Mae Berry, Paul Schermerhorn and Robert Schermerhorn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanette N. Jackson (Ret) and Cynthia L. Nava (Cyndi); her grandson Lucas Dean Jackson (Christine O'Brien); her great grandchild Olivia Joy Jackson; her sons-in-law, Wayne Jackson, Billy Childress, Chris Gunby, Pete Coffield and Harold Hitchcock III (Hal); and her grandson Lucas Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors (2502 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
