He was predeceased by: his parents, George Clifford Baird and Bessie Mary Baird; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Baird and George Baird. He is survived by: his wife Soleta Morris Baird; his sons, Dudley Baird, Jr. (Kathy), John Nolan Baird, Lewis Baird (Eleanor), Will Baird and Sol Baird; and his grandchildren, Nolan Baird, III, Daniel Baird, Shaw Baird, Claire Baird and Hugh Baird. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
