He was predeceased by: his wife George-Ann "G'Ann" Penton Babbitt; his son Earl L. Babbitt, III; his parents, Earl L. Babbitt, Sr. and Mary Bohler Babbitt; his siblings, Frank Bohler Babbitt, Mary "Molly" Babbitt Barnhart and Edward Babbitt; and his great grandchild Kadence Pledger.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Babbitt Anderson (Warren) of Madison, AL; his granddaughters, Jessica Evans (Sean) of Stafford, VA, Kaitlin Pledger (Grant) of Rogers, AR and Kelsey Anderson of Huntsville, AL; his great grandchildren, Eddie, Alli, Hailey and Harley Evans; and his siblings, Martiel Mullis (Dean) of Laceys Spring, AL and Larry Babbitt (Katherine) of Augusta. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
