He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward L. Harris, Sr. and Matilda Green Harris; his wife Betty Jean Moore-Harris; and his siblings, Leroy Green, Lester Harris, Frank Harris and Rose Green.
He is survived by: his children, Yolanda Brown (Levi) of Hephzibah, GA, Teresa Harris of Hephzibah, GA, Edward "Louie" Harris of Hephzibah, GA and Aisha Dixon of Grovetown, GA; his grandchildren, Olivia Brown Stover of Grovetown, GA, Victoria Brown of Durhan, NC, Jared Brown (April Johnson) of Barboursville, VA, Kameryn Dixon of Canton, GA, Lalah Dixon of Grovetown, GA and Nadia Harris of Augusta, GA; his great grandchildren, Robyn Stover, Ravyn Stover, Rayna Stover and Ronald Stover IV; his siblings, Edreca Gray of Charleston, SC, Bill Harris of Beaufort, SC, Marshall Harris of St Helena Island, SC and Mark Harris (Alfreda) of Ridgeland, SC; and his aunts, Victoria Green Simmons and Octavia Holloway of Jersey City, NJ.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the C. A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home (314 Laney Walker Blvd A, Augusta, GA 30901). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
