With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edwin L. Douglass Jr. (Augusta, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Garrett Douglass and Edwin Latimer Douglass; his grandparents, Augusta and T. Harry Garrett; and his brother Dr. Thomas Garrett Douglass.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Lindgren Douglass; his children, Anne D. King (Michael) and Edwin L. Douglass, III (Danny); his grandchildren, Will King (Addy), Anne Maxwell Douglass, Lucy D. Kelly (John), Edo Douglass IV (Elizabeth) and Margaret Douglass; his great grandchild George King; and his cousin Guy McLeod.
