She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Ashley and Blanche Ashley; her husband Herman Thacker; and her sisters, Lucille Edmunds and Norma Jean Mckinney.
She is survived by: her caregiver Lynn Ross; her children, Robin Rinder (Bobby) and Lin Thacker (Denise); her grandchildren, Scott Brown (Allison), Haley King, Brandon Thacker (Kara), Ashley Gaylor (Matt) and Ryan Thacker (Michelle); and her great grandchildren, Elly, Emmy Brown, Oaklyn King, Olivia, Karly Thacker, Natalie, Brooke, Hannah Gaylor, Liam, Alice, Owen and Ameila Thacker.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Crawford Avenue Baptist Church, 507 Crawford Ave, Augusta, GA 30904 in her honor.
