She is survived by: her children, Shantanet Welcher (Hawthorne Jr.) and Dwayne Perry; her grandchildren, Jelisa Perry, Hawthorne Welcher III and Zyian Welcher; her great grandchildren, Cynia Brown, Makayla Brown and Layla Brown; her siblings, William Brooks, George Baker, Diane Evans and Mathew Baker; and her in-laws, Sharon Jones, Betty Williams, Angela Perry and Richard Perry. She is also survived by nieces, nephews' cousins.
