She was predeceased by: her spouse Willie Sherrod. She is survived by: her children, Helen Livingston (Gene) and Harry Hartley, Sr.; and her sisters, Verlene Hodge and Betty June Till. She is also survived by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
