He is survived by: his parents, Tom Woody and Amy Woody; his brothers, Corbin Hughes and Spencer Woody; his sister-in-law Caroline Hughes; and his nephew Conrad Hughes. He is also survived by family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the Woody family hopes to honor Emery by sponsoring a disc golf basket or bench at a disc golf park currently being developed in the Augusta area.
