Flossie Myles Ortiz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2025, Flossie Myles Ortiz of Augusta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Flossie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Flossie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Ortiz; her children, Marva Davis (Johnnie), Joey Myles, Yolanda Myles and Patricia Mitchell; and her sister Ola Wilson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church (1260 Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta, GA 30901).
