She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Julius and Ovelle Nickles; and her husband Billy Ware. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy (Pam), Lynda, Penney (Steve) and Julie (Trey); and her grandchildren, Michael, Cal (Janelle), Will, Wesley (Kacee), John (Natalie), Anna (Chris), Carlie (Josh), Andrea (Brandon), Molly (Ben) and Dalton (Delaney). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Damascus Baptist Church (3014 Damascus Rd, Augusta, GA 30904). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
