We announce the death of Francis Xavier O'Shea of Augusta, Georgia, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 94. Francis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas O'Shea (Pop) and Ethel O'Shea (Mahoney); his brother Tom; his children, Colleen, James, Thomas, Cathleen, Brian and Kevin; his former wife Roseanne Yoerg; his wife Dolores Shanahan; and his caregivers, Melinda, Catherine, Maria and Mimi. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
