With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frankie J. Welch of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on June 5, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Frankie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Frankie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her brother Eddy Davidson; and her nephew Todd Davidson. She is survived by: her husband Galen K. Welch; her children, Randall A. Sheffield and Renee Edwards (Roger); her grandchildren, John Sheffield, Dylan Sheffield, Taylor LaNasa (Kyle), Nicole McKinney and David McKinney; her sister Hazel Nordahl; and her sister-in-law Judy Davidson.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors (2520 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906).
