He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Gowdy, and Bertha Gowdy, Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Janice Carpenter (Marlon), Vanessa McKevie (Henry) of North Augusta, SC and Curtis Gowdy (Shanta) of North Augusta, SC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
