He is survived by: his wife Roberta Merriweather Buggs; his children, George Buggs, Jr. (Brenda), Tony Buggs, Daniel Buggs, Linda Bush, Shirley Bush, Connie (Paul) and Buggs-Burton; and his sister Minnie Bell Pickens. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
