He was predeceased by: his daughter Linda Jane Gross Fox; his grandson Miles Martha; his parents, Marwood Theadore Fox and Beulah Fred Nickens Fox; and his siblings, Margaret Elizabeth Fox, Cecil Pearl Fox, Warden Hardin Fox (Lucille), Zola Elaine Fox Steinbrink (Richard), Frank Jewell Fox (Ruby), Myrtle Mae Fox Miller (Bert), Thomas Theadore Fox (Vera), Harold Dean Fox (Judy), Wayne Dale Fox and Rufus Eugene Fox.

He is survived by: his children, Rosetta Bailey Fox, Larry Craig Fox of Salem, CT, Cheryl Fox Martha (Kip) of East Greenwich, RI, Michael Dean Fox (Loretta) of Killingworth, CT, Kevin Andrew Fox (Heidi) of Topsfield, MA and Susan Jane Miller (Jeff) of Augusta, GA.; his grandchildren, Kelly (Adam), Laurel, Craig Fox, Julia Chalifour (Andy), Melanie Martha (Zakaria), Todd, Sean Fox, Zachary (Liv), Jessica Fox, Grant (Kaitlin), Evan (Molly) and Cole Miller (Anna); and his brother Lyndell Ray Fox (Nancy). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
