We announce the death of Georgia Pearl Whisnant Farr of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on June 19, 2026, at the age of 93. Georgia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, U. V. Whisnant and Carrie Whisnant; her husband John Tillman Farr; and her son Mitchell Jarrard. She is survived by: her sons, James (Angela), Michael (Harriet), Chester (Mary) and Danny (Marilyn).
