It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gordon Leon Shepherd (Augusta, Georgia), born in Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Leon Shepherd and Orentia Mae Tanner Shepherd. He is survived by: his daughters, Katie Pittman (Chad), Sarah Fowler (Jason) and Jenny Wasden (Clay); his sister Cynthia Shepherd Whitehouse (Norman); and his grandchildren, Emma Kate, Lily, Baby Pittman, Avery, Easton, Ansley Fowler, Wesley Ann, Waylon and Walker Wasden.
