She was predeceased by: her husband Chance Lewis Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Marguerite Bennett (Kenneth), Chance Lewis III, Kathy Lewis Hawkins (Leon) and Anne Lewis; her siblings, Julia Ross and Marvin Cummings; and her siblings-in-law, Hardy Lewis and Carolyn Hall. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
