He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gordon Bold and Elizabeth Reid Bold; his sister Elizabeth; his son Robert Lee Bold; and his brother Robert Reid Bold.
He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth "Betty" Carmain; his wife Alicia Bold; his children, Randy Allen Bold, James Hammond Bold, Elizabeth Ann Bold Tudor (Charlie) and George Gordon Hammond Bold, Jr. (Tess); his grandchildren, Tara Bold, Brian Bold, Jamie Hadden and Samuel Hammond Tudor; his great grandchildren, Shaye Patterson Roun (Joshua), Logan, Sofia Bold, Maggie and Jack Hadden; his brother William Bold (Diane); his sister-in-law Carol Bold; his mother-in-law Brenda Hollis; his brother-in-law Kevin Hollis (Susan); his nieces and nephews, Chris Bold, Rob Bold, Christopher Hollis, Becky Daly, Pam King and Rebecca Quaiyoom; his cousin Ed Sumerau (Pat); his friend Chess McCorkle; and his adoptive father Dr. James Millen.
