He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Montine Huffman; his parents, Wylie Thomas Huffman and Lillie Mae Sweeney Huffman; and his children, Paul L. Huffman, Leila H. McWee, Harold J. Huffman Jr., Victoria, Redd (Barry), Ashley Cozart (Spencer), Patrick M. Huffman (Terina), Shannon Johnson (Darryl), Tara Dozier (Lane) and Mikel R. Huffman. He was also cherished by 24 Grandchildren; 53 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

“Mr. Alvin Hawes (Buddy) and the entire Hawes family would like to offer their condolences. They spent spent most of there work careers at the paper mill, Dad often spoke of Harold, and many others as they were all like family at the mill. I had Dad in town today we came by the funeral home to sign the book, but it already been taken to the church. I promised him I would send ya’ll a note to let you know that he was thinking of Harold and your family. Take care, The Hawes Famliy”
