He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee Cook and Valerie Bates; his brother Eddie Willie Cook; his son Charles Elijah Cook; his wives, Elouise Johnson Cook, Elizabeth Dunbar Cook and Robbie Cobb Cook; and his granddaughter Lisa Michelle Butler Cobb.
He is survived by: his daughters, Ella Dinkins (Charles Glenn), Valerie Harris (James) and Elnora Butler (Harold); his daughter-in-law Ann Cook; his son Harry Cook (Mary); his grandchildren, Victoria Cook, Daryl Harris (Felicia), Steven Cook, Charles Kevin Dinkins, Shannon Cook, Antonio Dinkins (Jantzeen), Harry LeeLee Cook (Tamika), Corey Dinkins (Jessica), Jamie Dinkins (Kelli) and Michael Cook (Marie); and his nephew Eddie Roland Cook.
