She was predeceased by: her parents, Miller "Cotton" Brown and Hazel (Brown); her siblings, Ed Miller Brown and Joyce Stone (Charles Knight); her son David L Knight; and her grandchildren, Jermaine English, Shardavia Knight and Jazmine C. Knight.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Hill (Mack), Charlotte English, Linda Shield (Milo), Larry Knight (Delores), Richard Knight, Dorothy Smith and Neacole Blockett (Jerry); her siblings, Carrie Kelly, Leeotis Brown, Roger L Brown, Roy Brown, Dennis Brown and Jessie Brown; and her brother-in-law Robert Knight (Cora). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
