We bid farewell to Hemraj Maharaj of Augusta, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 12, 2024 at the age of 66. Hemraj touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Hemraj may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Hemraj touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Seemungal Maharaj and Hamina Gulab. He is survived by: his wife Omatie Samaroo; and his children, Keisha Maharaj and Sasha Maharaj.
