She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Collins Rich and Isabel McBride Rich; her husbands, Caleb E. Pennington, Jr. and Cecil E. Boozer; her daughter Susan P. McGee; her granddaughter Amelia I. Cartledge; and her siblings, Louise R. Barnwell and William M. Rich.

She is survived by: her children, Paula P. Cartledge, Louis C. Pennington (Kay) and Jonathan R. Pennington (Dori); her grandchildren, Alice C. Evatt, Henry M. Cartledge, Jr., Rachel M. Choe, Melanie P. Thomas, Stephanie L. Pennington, Bethany P. Mixon and Delta R. Pennington; and her great grandchildren, Amelia, Thomas, Caleb, Isabel, Matthew, Kaitlyn and Emmons.
