It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isolde Esther Smeak (Augusta, Georgia), who passed away on July 13, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Russell L. Smeak; and her parents, Willie Lohnert and Erna Wagner Lohnert. She is survived by: her children, Angie Smeak Jordon, Karl Smeak (Marygray), Lilian Smeak Deckert and Russell H. Smeak (Myra); her sister Ruth Umhey (Werner); and her grandchildren, Christie Jordon Curry (Scott), Dylan Smeak, Shelby Smeak, Stephanie Carter, Charles Avrett, John Avrett (Loren), Rebecca Smail (Nick) and Mitchell Smeak. She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren.
