He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Ouzts and Pauline Ouzts; his sister Annie Lucille Young (Jessie Young); his nephew Dennis Black; and his niece Denise Garcia.
He is survived by: his siblings, Myrtle June Black, Mary Frances Young (James) and Jack L. Ouzts; and his nieces and nephews, Kathy Y. Sakata, Donna Young (Tommy), Diane Stokes (Jeffery), Karen Bixby (Laurence), Joel Black (Alexis), Mark Young (Melissa), Garnett Wood (Tara), Tim Black, Jason Ouzts (Jessica) and Christopher Paul Ouzts.
