He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; and his sister Dortha Pinkston Fraley. He is survived by: his children, Larry Pinkston (Sue), Bob Pinkston, John Pinkston Bill (Elena Ivanovna) and Theresa Smith (Thomas); and his grandchildren, Daniel Pinkston, David Pinkston (Catherine), Emily Pinkston, Diana Alexander Nalenaya, Ethan Alexander Pinkston and James William Pinkston.
