James Gowdy Obituary

In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He is survived by: his children, Elaine Reynolds (James), Rick Gowdy (Mekala) and Randy Gowdy (Billye); and his sisters, Ethel Dunaway and Gwendolyn Brooks. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815).
