He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd L. Paschal and Annie Laurie Griffin Paschal; his siblings, Ray V. Paschal (Emma), Hubert L. Paschal (Kathryn Ann), Lee G. Paschal, William E. Paschal (Odell), Laurie P. Pearson, Elsie Grace P. Thornton and Ellen P. Thomas (R. C. Thomas); his brother-in-law Warren Whitaker (Judy); his daughter-in-law Wendy C. Paschal; and his parents-in-law, Marvin and Dixie Whitaker.
He is survived by: his wife Julia W. Paschal; his sons, James Howard "Jimmie" Paschal Jr. and Jerry C. Paschal (Rene); his granddaughters, April, Meagan, Samantha and Elizabeth Rewis (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Alexander Weaver, Kassidy Rewis and Preston Rewis; and his siblings-in-law, John D. Pearson, Daniel Thornton (Vergie) and Edna Paschal. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
