With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Head Sr. (Augusta, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As James departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Head; his parents, Essie Bell and Jacob Head; his daughter Jana Head; and his brothers, Bobby Head and Ray Head.
He is survived by: his son Donnie Head (Katie); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Head, Emma Head and Houston Head; and his great grandchildren, Penny and Ollie.
