He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Perdue; his children, James "Jim" Stewart Perdue, Jr. and Julie Appleton (Tim); his granddaughters, Kendall Appleton and Kaitlyn Appleton; and his sister Shelby P. Beasley (Doug). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
