He is survived by: his children, Janiya Golden (Will), Angel Lynn and Jamie Lynn; his father James Lynn, Jr. (Phillis); his siblings, Lisa Godbee (Raymond), Aamia Bennett, Keith Godbee, Jayden Bennett and Traeshaun Walker; his aunts, Ruby Gavin, Marshie Handereson, Forestine Walker, Linda Smiley, Gloria Lynn, Katherine Lynn, Marvis Diggs, Annie Parris (Harvey), Earnestine Howard and Lucille Howard; his cousin Gwendolyn; and his uncles, Ronald Lynn, Walter Howard and James Howard (Jerald).
A memorial gathering was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the C. A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home (314 Laney Walker Blvd A, Augusta, GA 30901).
