She is survived by: her children, Deborah Lane Burdic (Gary) and Roy Lee Lane Jr. (Karen); her grandsons, William Tim Springfield, III (Jennifer) and Anthony Lee Lane; her stepgrandson Jason Drew; and her brother Willard Branch.
In lieu of flowers Janelle asked for those wishing to honor her to make a donation to the Piedmont Augusta Foundation for the research and treatment of breast cancer.
