He is survived by: his wife Norma Yeater Dunbar; his son Chuck Dunbar; and his sister Jean Whisnant.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
