With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jevonte Lyons of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on November 10, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Jamie Hines (Timothy) and Johnny Lyons (Cynthia); his siblings, Jabrena Marshall, T'Bias Vaughn, Jarrin Lyons and Johnny Proctor; his grandparents, Bernice Hines, James Otis Tremble (Carolyn) and Arlene of Washington; his nieces, Ryan Marshall, Skylar Dantzler and Kierra Proctor; and his nephew Bryson Marshall. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and other relatives.

There will be a viewing on Thursday from 1-5 p. m. Please continue to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

“There's no words that could be stated 2 lull the "Spiritual pain" inflicted by such a tragedy of the sudden loss of life of a family member. There's, only, to send strong, positive, energy of love that the questions ones would have are answered, so the healing process from such a hurt can begin. And the fond memories of the time the loved one was living is no longer overshadowed, having this "spiritual pain". For now, along with the family members experiencing this hurt, Maalek sheds tears.”
