He was predeceased by: his parents, John Weare and Anna Weare; and his sister Barbara Ciliberto. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Lowe Weare; his children, James Weare, Jr., Alana Anderson (Chris), Trey Quattlebaum (Mary Katherine) and Meredith Weare; and his siblings, Debbie Campbell, John Weare (Franny) and Joseph Weare (Doreen). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
