With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmie M. Armstrong (Augusta, Georgia), born in Washington, Georgia, who passed away on September 30, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Gilmore Armstrong (Janice); and his daughter Michelle Brown. He is survived by: his daughter Renee Kelly; his grandchildren, Logan, Preston and Sydney Kelly; his brother-in-law Harry Gilmore, Jr.; and his siblings, Lyn Lurich, Carol Pantet and Charles Baker.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made toward the establishment of the Jimmie M. Armstrong scholarship at Davidson Fine Arts School, 615 12th St. Augusta, GA 30901.
