With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Kampschror of Augusta, Georgia, born in Abilene, Texas, who passed away on March 2, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Darrell B. Kampschror; and her parents, G. Alan Shackelford and Lois C. Shackelford. She is survived by: her children, Kaye McVey (Tim) and Kris Kampschror; her grandchildren, Jackie McVey Scott (Bruce Jr.) and Richie McVey (Tracy); and her great grandchildren, Kelsey and Taylor McVey. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren... to them, she was Nana/Great-Nana.
