He is survived by: his parents, Samuel Vereen and Mary Marlene Cockrell Vereen; his spouse Jamie Sunshine Baker Vereen; his son Connon Vereen (Augusta); his stepchildren, Buck Baker Smith of Martinez, GA and Sydney Smith of Utah; and his brother Benjamin Vereen of Greenwood.
