He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elsworth Mimmie and Lois Collins Mimmie. He is survived by: his significant other Kim Campbell; his children, Jarrod Anthony Mimmie (Susan), John Andrew Mimmie Jr. (Amanda) and Rene Mimmie Rouse (Bob); and his brother Larry Mimmie (Linda). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors (2520 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906).
