He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl L Hinnant and Sarah Hinnant; and his brother Carl Murphy. He is survived by : his wife Loretta J. Hinnant; his children, John Michael Hinnant, Jr., Dr. George Matthew Hinnant (Jaclynn) and Lindsay Hinnant Milam (Tim); his grandchildren, John Michael Hinnant, III, Hunter Ryan Hinnant, Chase Edward Hinnant and Mikayla Ann Hinnant; and his siblings, Dan Hinnant (Michelle) and Carlan Hinnant (Carol Boeding).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pineview Baptist Church Building Fund or Broad Street Ministry Center in Augusta, GA.
