It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny O. Beard (Augusta, Georgia), born in Screven, Georgia, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice Beard and Leon Beard; his son Danny Beard; his grandson Joshua Beard; and his sisters, Daisy Clark and Mytris Ann Williamson.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Beard Anderson (Roland) of Augusta, Patricia Beard Brock of Evans, Ricky Beard (Maxine) of Augusta, Randy Beard (Amie) of North Augusta, Andy Beard (Rebecca) of Evans and Jeff Beard of North Augusta; his granddaughter Laila Beard of Harlem; and his brother Isaac Beard (Melanie) of Waynesboro. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
