He was predeceased by: his parents, Donnie Lee Judy and Will Simms Judy. He is survived by: his wife Freda Judy; his children, Daniel Sheffield (Kristina), Joseph Judy Jr., Kayla Mims (Jesse), Brittany Wilson (Brandon) and Alexis Judy; and his siblings, David Judy (Tabatha), Will Simms Judy Jr. (Ernie) and Deborah Williams. He is also survived by 10 Grand children and several Nieces and Nephews.
