It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Hendrix of Augusta, Georgia, born in Geneva, Alabama, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband William L. "Bill" Hendrix; her children, William Russell Hendrix (Denise) and Nancy Hendrix Edwards (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Rhett Elliott, Regan Elliott, Joshua Hendrix and Christian Hendrix; and her siblings, June Jordan, Jill White and Joe Vaughan.
