We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2025, at the age of 86, Joyce Steinmeyer (Augusta, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Joyce is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joyce's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Lewis Goding and Norine Elizabeth Bloom; her husband John H Steinmeyer, Jr.; and her siblings, Lee Goding, Linda Curl, Gail Lashley and Elaine Jeffords.
She is survived by: her children, Dana (Tony), Diane (Bob), Karen, John (Robin) and Richard (Chelsea); and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn (Frank) and Dorothy (Bernard). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
