He is survived by: his wife Melinda Rose Cooper; his children, Rebecca Shannon (Kevin), Samantha Rowan, Johnathan Rowan and Jack Rowan; his mother Mary Ellen Cooper; and his siblings, Carilee Cooper, Kelly Yeager (Michael) and Sam Cooper, Jr. (Tanya). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
