She was predeceased by: her husband Spencer Leland Ready, Sr.; and her parents, Josie Newman of Washington and B. H. Newman. She is survived by: her children, Spencer Leland "Lee" Ready, Jr. (Leasa) and Jennifer Jackson (Chuck); her grandchildren, Spencer Leland Ready, Anna Flake (Drew), Campbell Ready (Jillian), Darbi Jackson and Payne Jackson; her great grandchildren, Raylee Flake, Briggs Flake and Spencer Leland Ready; her siblings, Berry Newman and Kym McDaniel; and her sister-in-law Gwen "Aunt Jenny" Florence.
